Kansas City Power and Light District Offenses

As it goes with many entertainment districts, many Kansas City Power & Light District patrons are criminally charged, or cited with a variety of City Ordinance violations from the City of Kansas City, Missouri Municipal Court or the Jackson County Circuit Court, such as: DUI/DWI, assault, disorderly conduct, public urination, indecent exposure, possession of drugs or drug paraphernalia, soliciting a police decoy or patronizing a prostitute.

The Kansas City, Missouri Power & Light District is a great place to dine, drink and play. Many off-duty Kansas City, Missouri police officers serve as bouncers and private security in and around the Power & Light District. They are quick to criminally charge, or issue you a ticket or citation for violating Kansas City Ordinances, or, in more serious cases, State of Missouri misdemeanors or felonies, forcing a court appearance in the Jackson County Circuit Court. Both the Kansas City, Missouri Municipal Court as well as the Jackson County Circuit Court, and the Federal Courthouse for the Western District of Missouri are located just blocks from the Power & Light District. The Kansas City, Missouri Police Headquarters is also within walking distance to the Power & Light District making it a hot spot for lots of police presence. Police officers are more than willing to write a ticket or criminally charge and/or arrest you for DUI/DWI, assault, disorderly conduct, public urination, indecent exposure, possession of drugs or drug paraphernalia, soliciting a police decoy or patronizing a prostitute.
