First of all, we want to assure you that we are open and working for you. Here, at the Law Offices of David M. Lurie, the safety and well-being of our customers is always our priority, and we recognize the important role we play in providing our customers outstanding and continued legal assistance in this critical time. We are actively monitoring the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation and taking steps to help keep our customers safe. We wanted to share with you some steps we are taking:
Aligning with public health authorities
We are dedicated to staying open to serve our clients during this pandemic and have a Business Continuity Plan to ensure the continuation of services. We are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19.
Protecting our Clients
As we interact with clients and the general public, we have taken steps to limit exposure to the virus. We are now offering phone and video conferencing with our clients and have in place secured remote-work solutions, and continue to reinforce safe behavior. We are also closely monitoring our e-mails in order to keep communication with our Clients and the Courts open and responsive.
Additionally, we have protocols in place with the courts to make sure we are able to properly represent our clients – no matter what happens.
At this time, we are working with the Court system and continuing court dates, or taking care of legal matters, when applicable, by non in-person dispositions and other forms of communication to keep our clients from having to expose themselves in public.
We are preparing for an increase in criminal charges during this time, and stand ready to assist you in your legal needs – including, disturbing the peace, assault, domestic violence, drunk driving, DUI/DWI, stealing, trespassing, and any type of quarantine and curfew violations and charges that may come up.
